Daniel Melvin Reger Daniel Melvin Reger, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at his home. Born November 24, 1947 in Crosby, Minnesota, Daniel graduated from Mormon Trail High School with the class of 1966. Daniel attended Indian Hills Community College and Northeast Missouri State University. He served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was employed with Rick Fenton Trucking Company. Surviving are his son Jason (Laura) Reger and two granddaughters, Samantha and Zoey and his future grandson, Tanner of Yorkville, IL. Preceding him in death were his parents, William and Georgia Reger and a granddaughter, Brianna Reger in infancy. A memorial service will be held at Randolph Black Funeral Home on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. The funeral home is located at 204 North Greeley, Corydon, Iowa. There is no visitation as cremation rights will be accorded Preferred memorials are gifts in his name to the COPD Foundation.
