Curtis George Yauk's Obituary
Curtis George Yauk, age 59, of Centerville, passed away Thursday morning, April 1, 2021 at his home.
Curtis was born on May 6, 1961 in Iowa City, the son of Steve and Betty Blinda (Gillispie) Yauk.
Curtis worked as a painter for Grimm Construction, and drove a semi for Rolling West and Fly Wheel. He enjoyed watching comedies, listening to 70s music, and loved old, classic cars.
Left to honor Curtis memory are his brother, Garry (Pat) Yauk of Iowa City, three sisters, Linda (George) Grimm Jr, Patricia Yauk, and Debra (Claude) Callen all of Centerville; and loved his several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; and a niece, Trish Yauk.
Visitation will be held at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 with the family greeting friends from 5-7PM. Following the visitation, cremation will take place. A private family service will be held at a later date at the Sunset View Cemetery in Moulton.
