Curtis Eugene Clinkenbeard, age 46, of Centerville, Iowa, died Saturday, August 2, 2008 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He was born the son of Billie George and Jewel Dean (McLain) Clinkenbeard on June 15, 1962 in Iowa City, Iowa. He received his education in the Centerville Community Schools.On March 26, 2002, Curtis was united in marriage to Tammy R. Selby in Centerville, Iowa. He worked as a school bus driver and meal deliveries for the Centerville Community Schools for over 13 years. He was a member of People's Baptist Church in Centerville.He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Shelly Clinkenbeard and a brother, Billy Joe Clinkenbeard.He is survived by: his wife, Tammy R. Clinkenbeard of Centerville, Iowa; son, Curtis Eugene Clinkenbeard, Jr. of Centerville, Iowa; daughter, Amy Clinkenbeard of Eldora, Iowa; step-daughter, Stephanie Shore of Centerville, Iowa; step-sons, Johnathan, Larry and Ricky, Jr.; sisters, Connie Herman and Sheila Roush both of Centerville, Iowa; brothers, Barry Clinkenbeard of Cincinnati, Iowa, Bryon Clinkenbeard of Oklahoma and Bruce Clinkenbeard of Centerville, Iowa; step-sister, Barbara Acrey of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 10 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. David Clark officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 from 2 pm till 8 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville with the family present from 6 pm till 8 pm at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
