Corey Short's Obituary
Corey Dwayne Short, age 33 of Cincinnati, Iowa passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa.
He was born on July 28, 1983 in Mahaska County, Iowa, the son of Edward Ross Short and Sandra Rae Williams.
Corey is survived by his wife, LeAnn (Garrison) Short of Cincinnati, Iowa; his father, Ed (Kathy) Short of Rogers, Arkansas and his mother, Sandra Reed of Sigourney, Iowa; four children, Chad Robert Short, Corey Alexander Short, Adrian Marcus Short, and Kirra Diane Short; a step-child, Crispin Aellen Hoover; his sister, Kassandra Lynn Williams; two brothers, Jacob Edward Short and Spencer Dwight (Levi Price-Bateson) Short; two step-sisters, Crystal Major and Katie Major; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Jim and Jackie Short, Ivan and Connie Slesinski; two cousins, Christopher Ray Reynolds and Chad Ewing.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 PM, Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 1307 W. Washington St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544 with Mark Waits officiating. A visitation will take place on Friday at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, with the family greeting friends from 11AM- 1 PM. An open memorial has been established in Coreys name and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
