Galen, as you know Connie was gifted & had a way of making everyone feel special. I met her through Joanie her BFF. She was Joan's little neighbor girl who hung out with us and spent lots of time up on Greenwood Dr. with us, my brothers & lots of our friends. Everyone loved her & treated her like a little sister. After highschool we both ended up in Boulder, CO. for a period of time with our new baby girls. That was a special time for us, since we were both so far away from our families. We made several road trips home together & on one trip my dad came to get us & brought us home singing all way & he couldn't sing. Connie & I always kept in touch, although we rarely saw each other. When we talked, we picked up wherever we left off. It was such a gift to see her and you Galen, when we were back home. Thank you for giving us that time! Inspite of what she had to endure she was so positive & still her happy self. It was so wonderful to laugh, cry & reminisce with her. Once we got back home every week or two, Rex would ask, "Dee have you talked to Connie?" He sends his condolences to you Galen.
Connie will always have a special place in my ♥️
