Clyde 'Bruce' Groves' Obituary
Clyde Bruce Groves, age 67 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at MercyOne Medical Center in Centerville.
Bruce was born on October 6, 1954 in Madisonville, Kentucky, the son of Clyde and Cleta Mae (Poole) Groves.
Bruce worked for Daughtery Trucking for several years. He enjoyed listening to music, and watching sports, especially baseball and basketball.
Left to honor Bruce are his children, Stephanie Mudd of Clarksville, Tennessee, Russell Phillips and Bradley Phillips of Madisonville, Kentucky, and Joesph Phillips of Norfolk, Virginia; sisters, Brenda (Bobby) Heflin and Pamela Groves of Madisonville, Kentucky; brother, Michael (Melinda) Moore of Earlington, Kentucky; grandkids, Shanise, Colin, Dominique, Samantha, Niyah, Andrea, Victoria, Alexus, Nevaeh, Paisley, and Xavier; as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Groves and Cleta Hatler; his sister, Faye Ogelsby; and brothers, Bill Ed Moore, Keith Groves and Roger Poole.
Per Bruces wishes, cremation has been accorded. There are no scheduled services at this time. Memorials may be written to his daughter, Stephanie Mudd, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, Attn: Groves family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
