Clyde C. Cullen's Obituary
Clyde Cullen, age 88, of Plano died Tuesday morning, October 25, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
Clyde was born January 28, 1917, the son of John and Rene Cullen in Gary, Indiana. He married Dorothy Delya on January 14, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Clyde worked for and retired from United States Steel as a maintenance supervisor. Clyde was a member of the Kaaba Shrine and the ""Roadrunners"" and the New Buffalo Yacht Club. He loved fishing, boating, playing poker, tinkering with mechanical stuff. He was a regular swimmer at the rec center Clyde was also a member of the Masonic Lake Lodge No. 157, A.F. and A.M..
Clyde is survived by his wife Dorothy of Centerville, Iowa; a step daughter, Vivian (Don) Seay of Moravia, Iowa;a step son, Andrew (Linda) Pazera of Westville, Indiana, three step-grandchildren, Anthony and Nicholas Pazera of Westville, Indiana and Laurie Seay of Des Moines, Iowa; a brother Paul (Julie) Cullen of Portage, Indiana; two nieces and a great-nephew; and a step-great grandson, Jacob, of Des Moines, Iowa. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Norma.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, October 28, 2005 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville. Friends may call all day Thursday with the family present from 6-8 PM. A Masonic Service will be held at 7PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hanes Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Shriners Cripple Children Hospital and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 South 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
