Clifford Whisler's Obituary
Clifford Whisler, 69 of Centerville passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Mercy One - Des Moines.
Clifford was born to Don & Leora (Davis) Whisler in Centerville on August 30, 1951. Clifford received his education from Centerville High School, graduating in 1969.
After high school, Clifford worked with his family for the majority of his life. He would eventually go in to business for himself. He operated a construction company and later operated a trucking company until retirement.
Clifford enjoyed time with his friends and family, he also enjoyed working and loved his little dog; Casey. In his younger years, Clifford enjoyed camping, boating and riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include his siblings: Connie Stephens (Pat), Delbert Whisler (Pam), Jerry Whisler (Cathy) and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kevin Whisler.
A celebration of Clifford's life will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. A visitation will take place two hours prior to the service from 12-2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
