I'm her great granddaughter, although we didn't have much time together my favorite memories with her were playing golf with my little plastic golf set. i also loved her baked potatoes and our little tradition where i'd put a fake spider in her bed, at first she was scared but it happened every year so she eventually got used to it and it really made her happy, i enjoyed seeing her and falling asleep in church together.
Dear Family of Aunt JoAnn ~I am so sorry to learn of the death of your mother and grandmother, that I know as Aunt JoAnn. Her oldest sister Valda, is my grandmother. I am the daughter of Junior (Harry) Curl. I have no contacts with this side of the family, I just can't find the one's I know. I knew Aunt JoAnn was close to my dad's age (1938), and I have been trying to find her so I could learn more about that side of the family, but I didn't know her married name. The only contacts I had were cousin Donna Gordon. I'mI am so sorry I missed the opportunity to know her. I heard nothing about good things about her my whole life. There are not enough words, time, or space here to adequately describe the fond memories I have of JoAnn Morrow. She will be forever loved and cherished. Her contributions to her church family and friends was monumental. She was a pillar of society in everyway. Steady and true. Embracing and gracious. I knew her as one of my mother's best in life. She and her husband and children were a positive, integral part of my childhood. May God's comfort and His Holy Spirit guide and heal the broken hearts who knew JoAnn most intimately.
