Clay Anthony Repp's Obituary
Clay Anthony Repp, age 63, of Centerville passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at Monroe County Hospital in Albia.
Clay was born on April 9, 1958 in Illinois, the son of Richard and Donnabell Louise (Smith) Repp. On March 29, 1977, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Clay was stationed overseas for a year, and obtained his rifle Sharpshooter badge at this time. He remained active duty until 1980, when he went into the reserves. He served his country faithfully and was honorably discharged on March 29, 1983.
Following the military, Clay was employed at Curwood in Centerville for many years. He was also a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Centerville.
Clay is survived by his sister, Cheryl (John) Kauzlarich of Mystic; a niece, Lacie Stromwall of Centerville; nephews, Lucas Repp of Centerville and Blake Upton of Mystic; a great niece, Baylor Stromwall of Centerville; his uncles, Neal (Etta) Smith of Mystic and Edward (Rose Ann) Smith of Mystic; as well as several extended family members.
Clay was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Donnabell Repp; his wife, Denise Repp; his daughter, Faith LaNae Repp; and his brother, Wayne Repp.
Cremation has been accorded. There are no scheduled services at this time.
