Clarence Allan Jessop's Obituary
Our beloved Clarence went to be with the lord. Clarence passed away at Mercy One in Des Moines on August 4, 2024 with family by his side. While his death was unexpected, his family and friends were in total shock to hear the news. Clarence had suffered from drug addiction, which in turn took his life. The disease took him away from everyone who cared, loved, and adored him.
Clarence was born on May 17th, 1988 in Des Moines, Iowa to Candy Sue Davison. At about 6 years old, Clarence went to live with his Aunt Pam and late Uncle Roscoe (Rocky). Candy asked her sister Pam to adopt him before Christmas in 2002, he became Pam and Rocky's son. Clarence grew up in Chariton and Centerville. Clarence graduated from Centerville High School in 2007. He was always willing to help anyone who needed help, he was a jack of all trades. He loved to take his best friend Nevaeh fishing and camping.
Clarence is survived by his 2 sons, Donny of Perry, Iowa and Jayden of Centerville, Iowa; his mom, Pam Davison and his biological mom, Candy Davison both from Centerville, Iowa; 3 sisters, Crystal (Jacob) Ewing of Montezuma, Susan and Bethany (Josh) both of Centerville, Iowa. He will also be missed by his best friend Nevaeh. Also, his nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by his friends who knew him by Leprechaun and the ones who knew him by giggles.
He was preceded in death by his dad Roscoe (Rocky) Jessop; maternal and paternal great grandparents; Grandparents, Ray and Dora Sistern; uncle, Paul Davison, and cousin, Jay Paul Trahan.
A Potluck get-together in honor of Clarence will be held from 1:00PM-6:00PM at the Westbridge Inn & Suites Conference Room in Centerville. Memorials may be made to Pam Davison, to be determined at a later date. Condolences may be shared online at www.thomasfh.com or www.facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
