Charles 'Chuck' Strode's Obituary
CHARLES 'Chuck' STRODE, 58, was born July 9th, 1963, in Des Moines, Iowa and passed away November 4th, 2021, at home in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Chuck enjoyed good food, good drinks and good people. He was a talented writer, singer and performer in total control of the room. In later years, he became interested and adept at creating and showcasing artwork across various different styles and mediums.
Chucks intelligence is evident by his having skipped the 3rd grade and graduated from Des Moines Technical High School at the age of 16. Chucks passion for serving others is evident by his having joined the US Navy to begin his professional career and his long-time involvement in FBVA youth basketball efforts.
Chucks competence is evident by being a highly respected Community Association Manager for over 30 years -- including being named the Community Associations Institutes Central Florida Chapter President-Elect.
Chucks impact on the world is evident by the family and countless friends that are deeply mourning his passing.
Left to honor Chucks memory are his son, Spenser Strode; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, James and Delores Strode.
Chucks life will be celebrated at 1 PM, Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the Dale Cemetery, north of Centerville, Iowa, with military rites proceeding graveside services. In lieu of flowers, an open memorial has been established in Chucks name and may be sent to a charity/group of ones choice.
