Charles Dixon's Obituary
Charles Dixon, or known by many as 'Charlie Brown', age 46, of Moravia, Iowa and a former resident of Moulton, Iowa, died Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. He was born the son of Hale 'Joe' and Ellar Jane (Murvin) Dixon on November 21, 1969 in Centerville, Iowa. He graduated from the Moulton-Udell High School in 1988.He so enjoyed camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, working on cars, boating and most of all cooking. He worked for A-Z RV Rental near Lake Rathbun.He was preceded in death by: his mother, Ellar Dixon on May 22, 2009 and paternal grandparents, Hal & Helen Dixon.Charles is survived by: his father, Hal 'Joe' Dixon of Moulton, Iowa; girl friend, Peggy White of Moravia, Iowa; sons, Leroy Conn of Centerville, Iowa, Kevin Conn of Moulton, Iowa and Michael Dixon of Centerville, Iowa; daughters, Britney and her husband Leroy Mason of Kirksville, Missouri and Katie Dixon of Centerville, Iowa; a brother, Hal Joseph Dixon, Jr of Moulton, Iowa and Joyce Fine and her husband Jesse of Floris, Iowa; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held at 4 pm, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Orleans's Church of Christ north of Moulton, Iowa with Jerry Weller officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 pm until 4 pm at the church with the family present. Burial will be in the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton.Memorials can be made in his name and left at the church.
