Charles E. Denato's Obituary
Charles Ernest DeNato, age 73, died Friday, November 3, 2006 at his home in Cincinnati, Iowa.
Charles was born January 27, 1933, the son of John and Lena (Argenta) DeNato in Rexfield, Iowa. He worked in the construction industry. Charles married Kay Polich, June 24, 1994 in Centerville, Iowa. Charles was known as the ""Italian Stallion"". He loved taking care of his yard, cleaning his car, going camping with John and June, and most of all spending time with his grandkids, Alex and Alexis.
Charles is survived by his wife, Kay; his children; Debbie (John) Strable of St. Charles, IA, Tonda (Larry) Brown of Des Moines, IA, Glenda (Buffalo) Biddles of Des Moines, IA and a step-son Jim Wilmot of Cincinnati, IA; seven siblings, Zella Wolfkill of San Bernadina, CA, Isabelle Chamberlin of Auburn Hills, MI, Lena Kauzlarich of Des Moines, IA, Norma Rogers of Winterset, IA, Merico DeNato of Marshalltown, IA, Quinto DeNato of Burlington, IA and Mary Fox of IL; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Flora Mae Witte, Sylvio DeNato, Celest DeNato, Stella Wells and John DeNato.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Doherty officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakview Cemetery in Albia, IA. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2006 with family present from 9-10:30 AM. A memorial has been established to the family and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
