Chad Marten Williams' Obituary
Chad Marten Williams, 47, passed away on July 5th, 2025. Chad was born on July 28th, 1977 in Centerville, IA, the son of Gordon "Bud" and Cathy (Jeannine) Williams. Chad started his life-long career as a diesel mechanic at the age of 16, apprenticing at the Klinginsmith Garage in Unionville. For the past 31 years, Chad continued his passion working for various companies and corporations. Chad was a loving and devoted father to his 4 children; Alexis Brown and husband Jakob, Shelby Williams, Rayden Williams, and Julian Williams. Chad also cared for Shelly Klinginsmith, Lacey Klinginsmith, Blaise Atkinson, Madison and Kenneth Lewis.
Besides being known as a man of all trades, Chad loved FSU and aviation planes; he always dreamed of one day being a pilot. Chad accepted the Lord as his savior at the age of 10 and his hobbies included grilling, working with and crafting wood projects, hunting, fishing, shooting guns, and playing corn hole with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents and 2 daughters, Chad is survived by a brother, Codie Williams and wife Beth; niece, Katie Williams; nephews, Gage and Max Williams; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chad was preceded in death by 2 sons, Rayden and Julian Williams; grandparents, Junior and Jean Williams, Joe and Fern Valentine; and great grandparents, and several relatives.
Memorials in Chad's honor may be made payable to the family and entrusted to the Thomas Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
