Cecil Ross Samuel, age 87, of Melrose, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at his home. Cecil was born on March 11, 1934 in Hiteman, Iowa, the son of Pliny and Violet (Briggs) Samuel. He graduated from Albia High School with the Read Obituary
Our memories of Cecil go back to his snowmobiling days in Albany, WY. Cecil and his snowmobiling buddies brought us Joy, Laughter, Fun, and of course super delicious Fish Frys. Our one time fishing trip in Iowa brought even more good times plus we met Theresa and the kids they were raising at the time. Our SINCERE SYMPATHY TO ALL OF CECIL'S FAMILY as they grieve and celebrate the life of their husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, co-worker, and all around sports guy. Rest in Peace, Cecil.

So sorry to hear this, Cecil and my dad Ben were go kart buddies and when I was young we would some times spend the night when they lived out side Albia. Still remember how the train would shake the house. Thoughts and prayers Toni, Crystal and Darlene.
