Cecil Dean Wishmeyer Obituary's Obituary
Cecil Dean Wishmeyer, eldest child of Joseph L. and Isola (Wilmet) Wishmeyer, was born on the family farm near Humeston on September 5, 1911 and died at the Continental Care Center at Seymour on October 2, 2012, where he had been a resident since 2005. Cecil attended school through the 10th grade. He married Leona Rynor on June 6, 1932 and three sons, Willard Dean Wishmeyer, Chester Wishmeyer and Willis Dean Wishmeyer were born to this union. They lived the majority of their married life on a farm near Humeston and were married 59 years, when Leona died in February 1992. Cecil's parents Joseph and Isola Wishmeyer, sister Dorothy Recker, wife Leona, sons Chester and Willis, and grandchildren Diana and Michael Wishmeyer preceded him in death. He is survived by his son W. Dean Wishmeyer of Cedar Falls, Iowa, grandchildren Janet Rettenmaier, Columbia, Missouri, Duane Wishmeyer, Highland Ranch, Colorado, and Jolynn Wishmeyer, Cedar Falls, Iowa and great-grandchildren Katherine and Jared Wishmeyer, Highland Ranch, Colorado and Leigh and Keith Rettenmaier, Columbia, Missouri.
