Carson Miller's Obituary
Carson Conroy Miller, age 69, of Unionville, Iowa, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 at MercyOne Medical Center in Centerville after a short battle with cancer.
Carson was born on July 3, 1954 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Carl and Carol Sue (Morrow) Miller. He graduated from Moravia High School with the Class of 1972.
Carson worked for Cargill for 35 years in various roles; supervisor, maintenance technician and sub-contractor. He was fond of drinking coffee, sharing farming stories, making homemade ice cream, watching car races and John Deere tractors. Carson was an avid cattle and crop farmer- his pride and joy was running the 4th generation Miller farm. He was a very private person, but also a very humble, honest and good man.
Left to honor Carson's memory are his siblings, Carla (June) Pagdilao, Claudia (Rod) Purdum and Craig Miller; his nephews and nieces, Chad (Cheryl) Miller, Ryan (Michelle) Purdum, Courtney (Mizraim) Acosta, Jamie (Jared) Henkle, Rachel (Charles) Seddon, Tasha (Morgan) Pagdilao and Keisha (Jordan) Pagdilao-Moss; a cousin, John Cosby; as well as many great nephews and nieces.
Carson was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Carol Miller.
Per Carson's wishes, cremation has been accorded. There will be no services at this time.
