Carolyn Lucille Saldana, age 58, of Centerville, Iowa, died Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of Glen and Ethel (Elliott) Armstrong on January 28, 1949 in Mystic, Iowa. She received her education in the Mystic Community Schools and also Indian Hills Community College.On May 29, 1965, Carolyn was united in marriage to Jerry Saldana in Centerville. She was worked as a Residential Aid for the Centerville Community Betterment in Centerville. She also attended the Nazarene Church in Moravia, Iowa.She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Bob and Gary Armstrong; sisters, Betty Thomas and Dorothy Armstrong; Nephews, Willie River Gibson and Bob Thomas.Carolyn is survived by: her husband, Jerry Saldana of Centerville, Iowa; daughter, Dolores Snow of Centerville; son, Jerry Allen Saldana of Centerville; sister, Beverly Gibson of Centerville; brothers, Kenneth Armstrong of Sylmar, California, Edward Armstrong of Des Moines, Iowa, Terry Armstrong of San Bernadino, California and Larry Armstrong of Calona, Illinois; grandchildren, Kyle Snow, Selena Snow, Maggie Mae Snow, River Snow , Zayden Snow, Paul Saldana, Daniel Saldana and Brianna Saldana; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 11 AM at the To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Carolyn Lucille Saldana please visit our Sympathy Store.
