Carol Elaine Fuller Obituary's Obituary
Carol Elaine Fuller, daughter of Ron and Alice Fuller was born November 20, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa. She passed away May 9, 2014 at the Wayne County Hospital, Corydon, Iowa, at the age of 66 years. Carol attended school in the Des Moines Area. At an early age, she suffered from an illness that left her mentally and physically challenged. Because of this, Carol spent over 30 years working at Link Associates, a sheltered workshop in Des Moines. Most of her adult life was spent living in group homes in Des Moines where she made long-lasting friendships. The past two years, Carol lived at Continental Care Center in Seymour. Carol had many interests. She loved animals (especially dogs), sewing, embroidering and art. She really enjoyed bingo, skip-bo, Cubs baseball and the Iowa Hawkeyes. During the summer, she liked picnics, fishing and annually attending church camp. Her brother Bob, and wife Virginia Fuller, of Allerton, Iowa as well as several cousins survive Carol. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Carol will be laid to rest between her parents in the Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa.
