Bryon "Bubba" Womboldt
Bryon "Bubba" Matthew Womboldt, 53, of Unionville, MO passed away at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO on November 21st, 2025 after a long battle with cancer.
Bubba was born at Shawnee Mission Hospital in Merriam, Kansas on October 3rd, 1972 the son of Edward, Jr. and Patty Womboldt. Bubba graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1992 where he was a member of the Swim Team and Student Council. He drove a parts delivery truck for many years in downtown Kansas City. During the summer months Bubba visited his grandparents and helped on the family farm in Cincinnati, IA. Later in life he moved to Putnam County to be closer to family. Bubba was a member of the Ford Ranger Club and was a gifted artist and photographer. He enjoyed his side by side rides "rock picking" with his mother. Bubba loved to go antique shopping, carefully searching for special treasures. He will always be remembered for constantly offering a helping hand to everyone.
Bubba is survived by his mother, Patty Womboldt of the home and a brother, Johnny Womboldt and wife Rhonda of Unionville, MO. Bubba is also survived by aunts, Susie Poland and Athena (Clint) Heidenwith and uncles, Johnny (Paula) Wells; Billy (Tammy) Wells; and Sonny Wells.
Bubba was preceded in death by his father, Edward Womboldt; grandparents, Lyle and Glenna Wells and Edward, Sr. and Janet Womboldt; aunts, Kathy Cullor and Jeannie Seimes; uncle, Jack (Debbie) Wells; and faithful dog, Molly.
Graveside services are being planned and will be announced at a later date.
