Bruce Edward DeCook's Obituary
Bruce Edward DeCook, age 41, of Moulton, Iowa, died Friday, July 29, 2005 at Supervalu Distribution Center in Berkeley, Missouri. He was born the son of Edward and Arlene (Swarts) DeCook on November 4, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa. He received his education in the Unionville Community Schools in Unionville, Missouri.On February 27, 1988, Bruce was united in marriage to Mary Beth Cornett at the United Methodist Church in Moulton, Iowa. From this union the gift of life was given to four children; Robin Lee DeCook, Daniel Edward DeCook, Jason Alexander DeCook and Rachel Ann DeCook all living at home in Moulton. Bruce was employed as a truck driver for the Roberts & Oake Transportation Company out of Kentucky.Bruce was preceded in death by: his parents; maternal grandparents, Bernard and Ada Swarts and Paternal grandparents, William and Sadie DeCook.He is survived by: his wife, Mary Beth DeCook of Moulton and their children; sisters, Janice and her husband, Louie Casady of Worthington, Missouri and Joyce and her husband, Monty Hines and their children, Montana and Cheyann of Livonia, Missouri; nephew, John and his wife, Lisa Campbell and their children, John Tyler and Bradley of Missouri; a niece, Jennifer and her husband, Josh Greenwood and their children, Jesse, Jasmine and Jadi Greenwood all of Annabel, Missouri; several aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at 10 am at the United Methodist Church in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Jim Schweizer officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton.
