Brian Brookhart's Obituary
Brian C. Brookhart, age 37, of Buffalo, Iowa, passed away at his home in surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Brian attended Truman School and graduated from North High School in Davenport, Iowa in 1993. After graduating he attended the Handicapped Development Center where he was known as 'Mr. B'. He enjoyed family, friends, music, vacations, fishing and his dogs.He is preceded in death by: brothers, Michael and Brad Brookhart; Paternal Grandparents, Cleo and Elsie K. Brookhart; Maternal Grandfather, Alfred Ballesteros.Brian is survived by: parents, Butch and Brenda Brookhart of Buffalo, Iowa; brother, Ted and his wife, Brenda Brookhart of Buffalo, Iowa; grandmother, Jessie Ballesteros of Phoenix, Arizona; nephews, Greg and Justin Brookhart of Buffalo, Iowa, and Scottie Quillin of Davenport, Iowa; niece, Allaina Brookhart of Buffalo, Iowa; and a great niece, Kylee Quillen of Davenport, Iowa; also several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.Brian had very special friends and staff from Genesis Home Care. Special thanks to all of Brians doctors and nurses who cared for him throughout his life.Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Mark Waits officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery, southeast of Exline, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the family and can be mailed to or left at the funeral home.
