Brent Layne Hinshaw's Obituary
Brent Layne Hinshaw, aged 60 years young, passed from this life on December 6th, 2024. He was with the love of his life, Colleen Marie Hinshaw, as he left this mortal coil. He is in no more pain. Brent was born June 5th, 1964, in Creston, Iowa to Gary Wayne Hinshaw, and Julie Jayne (Judy) Hinshaw. They preceded him in death. Along with his wife he leaves his two boys, Coleman James, and Tyler Reed (Samantha) and his Best Buddy, his grandson, Treyton Alexander, his Tater. His 3 sisters, Brenda Oaxaca, Becky Stone, and Taylor Hinshaw. His brother, Brandon (Katrina) Hinshaw.
He has left behind many friends and family that he loved, and they loved him. He worked for Stone Broke Trucking and for Jake Stone for many years. He served as a crew chief in the US AirForce. He loved fishing with Cole, gaming with Tyler, and having a good shot of whiskey with his best friends, Butch and Mike. He shot a mean game of pool in his day and taught his boys, until they taught him a thing or two!
He never asked for anything he could not repay. He was always willing to help any way he could for his family and friends. He loved a good country song and was an in-demand dancer. Lol He had a hug when he saw you and an awesome listening ear for you when you needed it. Brent worked hard, played hard, and loved hard his whole life. He will be missed is an understatement.
Brent, "Barney, Bart, Capitan,' Hinshaw, I love you!!!!
