Bonnie Lee McCart's Obituary
Bonnie Lee (Teed) McCart, aged 84, of Corydon, IA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022. Funeral services to be held at the Corydon Cemetery.Bonnie was born the eighth of eleven children to Gail Delroy and Esther Marie (Kern) Teed on December 16, 1937. She graduated from Wayne Community High School in 1957 and was united in marriage to Don McCart on February 14, 1958. In addition to being a farm-wife, Bonnie managed the Wayne County Care Facility for many years. She was community-minded and enjoyed volunteering for the American Cancer Society. She also enjoyed serving at the First Baptist Church where she attended for many years and taught Sunday school. She held a strong belief in her savior, Lord Jesus, and is with Him now in heaven. She was a faithful wife and beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Don; two daughters, Gina Hoveland of Eagan, MN and Susan Holdgrafer of Clive, IA; four grandsons, Matt Hoveland (Rachel), Colin Holdgrafer, Jon Hoveland (Tricia), and Ethan Holdgrafer; granddaughter, Anna Flintrop (Matt); great grandsons, Logan Flintrop, and Trygve Hoveland. Preceding her in death were her parents, 10 siblings, son-in-law, Trygve Hoveland, son-in-law Steven Holdgrafer, and great grandchild, Isaac Flintrop.Graveside service will be held at Corydon Cemetery on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
