Bonnie May's Obituary
Bonnie May, age 90, of Centerville died Wednesday September 15, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
Bonnie was born April 12, 1914 in Powersville, MO, the daughter of George W. and Mary Ethel Draper Fields. She married Loran R. May November 18, 1931 in Princeton, Mo, he preceded her in death Dec. 16, 1976.
Bonnie worked as a housekeeper at teh former Lutheran Hospital, Moline, IL., until retiring in1972 and moving to Centerville.
She is survived by sons Wilbur (Christal) of Temple, TX; DeWayne (Patty) of Centerville, George Arnold (Verna) of Atkinson, IL and Willard E. of Colona, IL; 28 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a daughter-in-law Sharon May of Lineville, Iowa
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughters Mary Roberta Haines and Alice Rosalie Downey, son Loran Donald, daughters-in-law Isabel and Joyce son-in-law Lawrence Haines, grandchildren Kathy Haines, Penny May, Derrick, Errick and Samuel May.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday afternoon at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with Pastor June Cooper officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon Friday until service time at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Powersville Cemetery, Powersville, MO.
