So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. In the Spring of 1963, I was a student at Kalamazoo College in Michigan. I was fortunate enough to be assigned to the Bureau of Commercial Fisheries in Chicago from April through June as what was called a 'career-service quarter'. I remember working with Bob with such fondness. He knew I was just a 'temp', but he took me under his wing and taught me so much about his work. I remember attending the National Restaurant Association meeting at McCormick Place with him, where he introduced me tp so many important restaurant people. He was such an upbeat person that it forever showed me that, as they say, 'attitude is everything'. His assistant, Sherry, pregnant at the time, was also so very kind to me. These memories are a great treasure for me.
