Uncle Virgil and Aunt Blanche, two such loving and caring people. I loved ever minute I spent with them all of the years I was growing up, and when Ed and I took our 3 little kids to visit them in Allerton. I am so glad I got to visit Aunt Blanche once in AZ and last spring in Iowa. Special place in my heart for them. Lots of good memories. Thoughts and prayers are with you Connie. Your cousin Wanda
Oh Connie, am so sorry about Aunt Blanche, but I know she is in a good place and no more pain nor tears, seeing her loved ones and everything good. I have such fond memories of things we did with her and Uncle Virgil when I was a kid. You know they took me to the Grand Old Oprey when I had never seen anything like that and was the highlight of many years!!! Sweet and fun aunt Blanche..... Letha
Thanks so much Connie for calling me to let me know. I am so very thankful that I was able to visit your mom this past summer when I was in Allerton. I can't even begin to tell all the memories I have of your mom and dad and visiting Allerton every summer. One thing that always comes to mind is we always went to the amusement park in Des Moines and I loved that. I remember staying overnight at your 'yellow' house all the time. Even though I have been gone for many years from Allerton, I still remember a lot of the great times as a young girl I have from there. I will forever remember your mom's voice and her calling me Connie Jo. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this time, only wish I lived closer so I could be there tomorrow.
