Beulah Grismore's Obituary
Beulah Bureen Grismore left this world to be with Jesus on April 24, 2011. She passed away at the age of 97 years, 2 months and 17 days at the Circle of Life Hospice and Legacy Lodge in Chariton, Iowa. Beulah was born on February 7, 1914 in Bethlehem, Iowa. Beulah was the daughter of Ira Neal and Emma Pearl (Chapman) Dyer. She married Herman Chester Grismore on February 12, 1932 and to this union ten children were born: Melvin, Luella, Rosella, Ruth, Betty, Mary, Kenneth, Alan, Michael and Vicky. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Herman, daughter Luella, son Michael, one granddaughter, one great great granddaughter, and two great grandsons. She was also preceded in death by four sisters Opal Vesey, Floy Buttz, Lena Mattly, and Eva Monteith, one brother Coy Dyer, son-in-law Leo Enslow, brothers-in-law Edgar Monteith, Raymond Mattly, Westen Buttz and Doran Gookin, and sisters-in-law Betty Dyer and Marsha Dyer. She is survived by her three sons Melvin Grismore and wife Betty, Kenneth Grismore and wife Sharon and Alan Grismore and wife Cathy all of Chariton, five daughters Rosella Enslow of Chariton, Ruth Neuburger and husband Jerry of LaPine, Oregon, Betty Beavers of Osceola, Mary Ellen Munyon of Osceola and Vicky Holland of Murray. Other survivors include son-in-law Orville Woodside of California, sisters Lova Stuart, Donna Gookin, and Leta Guthrie, brother Lyle Dyer, 24 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
