Betty Jean Sulser's Obituary
Betty Jean Sulser, 92 of Centerville passed away, Friday, July 26, 2024 at Homestead of Centerville.
Betty was born to Hurley & Florence (Poli) Davis in Promise City, Iowa on March 16, 1932. Betty received her education from Promise City High School graduating in 1951.
On March 22, 1952, Betty was united in marriage to John Sulser. To this union three children were born, John Allen, Bill and Jim.Betty was a homemaker, she enjoyed taking care of her family and enjoyed taking care of her home. She also loved mowing her yard, taking care of her flowers, socializing and time spent with her family.
Survivors include her husband, John, sons: John Sulser (Linda), Jim Sulser (Cynthia); grandchildren: Jared Sulser, Dave Sulser (Tynne), Nick Sulser (Karla), Jami McGee (Brad), Jodi Storm (Kirk), Justin Sulser, Tanner Sulser (Lacy), Tatum Sulser; great grandchildren: Sloan, Mason, Dominic, Brylee, Hunter, Abby, Emma, Roux, Oliver; great-great grandchildren: Summer, McKenna, sister, Helen Butler, sister-in-law, Nona Davis and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bill, parents, brothers, Dallas, Dick, Bobby and Donnie Davis, great grandchildren: Taylor Sulser, Riley Sulser, granddaughter-in-law, Tina Sulser.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Friday, August 2, 2024 at Thomas Funeral in Centerville. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 10-11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow the service at Brushy Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Brushy Cemetery and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com or facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
