Betty Callen's Obituary
Betty Callen, age 59 of Centerville, Iowa died Friday, October 1, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Betty was born September 2, 1951 in Centerville, Iowa to Claude and Louise (Shaw) Callen.
Betty's pride and joy were taking care of her mother, nieces, and nephews.
Betty is survived by her sisters Dorthy Thomas of Promise City, Iowa, Sue (Larry) Brown of Seymour, Iowa, and Barb Brist of Lakewood, Colorado and brothers Bill (Linda)Callen of Moulton, Iowa and Claude (Debbie) Callen of Centerville, Iowa.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and sister Corene Callen.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Lange Funeral Home, in Centerville with Pastor Steve Houser officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 1-3 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Haines Cemetary, Centerville, IA. A memorial has been established to the family and may be left or mailed to the Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th, Centerville, Iowa 52544
