Beth Ann Detert's Obituary
Beth Ann (Pounds) (Miner) Detert was born May 13, 1969 in Loveland, Colorado. She passed away at home surrounded by her family on July 23, 2025.
Beth was a loving mom, wife, grandma, sister, aunt, and so much more. She will be greatly missed by so many people whose lives she has touched. Beth loved spending time with her family, especially while fishing, trail riding, and at the animal rescue. The animal rescue was Beth's passion in life. Her passion led to many horses and other animals finding their forever homes.
While gardening, running the rescue, operating the horse team, and generally being outside were her joys- marrying Kevin was one of the happiest days of her life. She was always very cheerful when she was with him and loved spending time with him.
Beth was very proud of her children and was only a phone call away for advice, or just to chat. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone without question. She was also known to make anyone feel welcome while around her or in her home, especially children. She loved getting pictures of her grandchildren on her digital picture frame, and cherished any moments she got to spend with them. Her summer visits from Naomi, her extended family, kids, grandkids, and "adopted" kids and grandkids visiting her made her very happy.
Beth had a strong foundation in her relationship with God. She started her battle with cancer in 2024, and lost her fight on July 23, 2025. Her spirit never wavered, even during her last days. Beth always made her cancer team laugh and made sure they were well stocked with eggs. She blessed many lives in her time on this Earth.
Revelation 21:4 KJV- And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Left to cherish Beth's memory are her husband, Kevin; son Ty (Ashley); daughter Amber (Jacob); grandchildren, Aria and Kyson; sisters, Gayle (Rick) and Diane (Zac); brother, Darrel; father, Norm (Ethel); nieces, Adrien, Sidney, and Meritt; nephews Caleb, Hudson, and Skyden; brothers-in-law Dwayne, Ned, Gary, Steve and their families; Rachel Willard and family; and many, many more she considered "her kids" or family. Lastly, she was survived by her dog, Sport, who accompanied her anywhere she went.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda; and brother, Bryan.
Psalm 23 KJV-The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
