Berniece L. Disney's Obituary
Berniece L. Disney, 92 of Bloomfield, Iowa and a former Moulton resident, died on Tuesday, November 15, 2011at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Floyd and Mona (Mishler) McElderry on March 22, 1919 in Centerville, Iowa. She attended a rural Appanoose Country School.Berniece was first united in marriage to Homer A. Minnick, they were later divorced and in 1962, she was united in marriage to Harold A. Disney in Sarasota, Florida. She was a homemaker and a member of the Moulton Christian Church.She was preceded in death by; her parents and husband, Harold A. Disney on December 9, 1991; and a great granddaughter, Makenzie Waterbeck.Berniece is survived by: her sons, Roger Minnick and his wife, Lana of Bloomfield, Iowa, Ronald Minnick of Machesney Park, Illinois and Gail Minnick and his wife, Jane of Sterling Heights, Michigan; step-sons, Donald Disney and his wife, Marge, Duane Disney and his wife, Phyllis all of Florida and Daryle Disney and his wife, Marion of Tennessee; step-daughter, Phyllis Van Sickle of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 3 pm at the Mt. Ararat Cemetery east of Centerville with Rev. Reg Higginbottom officiating. Burial to follow. Visitation will be held from 1 till the time of services at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville.Memorials can be made to Mt.
