Barbara Lea Stephanie's Obituary
Barbara Lea Stephanie, age 60, of Moulton, Iowa, died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at her home in Moulton. She was born the daughter of Jack H. and Lois M. (Potter) Howard on March 8, 1955 in Centerville, Iowa. She graduated from Moulton-Udell High School in 1973. After graduation, Barbara worked at Saddle Rock Cafe, JC Penny's, Wells Manufacturing and later, Rubbermaid in Centerville, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Dennis Stephanie on January 26, 1990 in Moulton, Iowa. She attended both the Moulton Methodist Church and Moulton Christian Church.She was preceded in death by: her father, Jack H. Howard on March 18, 2011; a infant brother, Marvin John Howard; her grandparents, Marvin and Edith Howard and John and Ruth Potter.Barbara is survived by: her mother, Lois M. Howard of Moulton, Iowa; her husband, Dennis Stephanie of Moulton, Iowa; sons, Nathan Van Sickel and his wife, Jessica of Frankfort, Kentucky and Seth Van Sickel and his wife, Melissa of Parker, Colorado; a daughter, Nolanne Cox and her husband, David of Oskaloosa, Iowa; three grandchildren, Harrison Van Sickel, Deacon and Drake Cox.Memorial service will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Brian Hargrave officiating. Burial of her ashes will follow at the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 2 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home with family present from 6 pm till 8 pm.Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to the Moulton First Responders and left or mailed to the funeral home.
