Barbara Montegna's Obituary
Barbara J. Montegna 74, of Centerville, died at her home Monday. She was born May 5, 1930 to John Scott and Eva Mae (Stewart) Power in Centerville. Barbara received her education in Centerville. She married Samuel Joseph Montegna at St. Mary's Church in Centerville on August 12, 1954.
Barbara is survived by her husband Samuel of Centerville, three sons; Joseph Patrick of Centerville, John Eugene and his wife Tina of Haughton, Louisiana, Timothy Gerard and his wife Lana, brother Jerry Power and his wife Judy of Moravia, 9 grandkids, 1 great grandson, several nieces and nephews. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, son Samuel Alvin Montegna, brothers, Ronald Lee Power and Arthur Robert Power.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2004 at Thomas Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with Scripture service at 7:30 p.m.. Mass of the Resurrection will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church with Fr. Bill Miller C.PP.S officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. A memorial has been established which may be left at or mailed to Thomas Lange Funeral Home 1900 S 18th St. Centerville IA 52544
