Barbara Jean Kruzich's Obituary
Barbara J. Kruzich, age 76 of Centerville, Iowa, died on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Centerville Nursing & Rehab Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of Joe and Julia (Kauzlarich) Kruzich on May 10, 1935 in Numa, Iowa. She attended Centerville Community Schools.Barbara worked for a time at Mary's Cafe as a waitress and would later work at the Golden Age Care Center in Centerville as a Nurses Aid. She also enjoyed doing home health care for many people in the Centerville area. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville.She was preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother, Andrew Kruzich.Barbara is survived by: her son, John Kruzich and his wife, Pam of Shawnee, Kansas; brothers, Marion Kruzich of West Des Moines, Iowa, Mick Kruzich of Pleasant Hill, Iowa and Joe Kruzich of Sanibel, Florida; sisters, Mary Ann Muir of Chesterfield, Missouri and Joan Kruzich of Kansas City, Missouri.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 11 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Fr. Mike Volkmer, C.PP.S officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 2 pm until 8 pm with the family present from 6 pm until 8 pm. A Rosary service will be held at 6:30 pm at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association and can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
