Barbara J. Hart's Obituary
Barbara J. Hart, age 73, of Centerville, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born the daughter of the late Murray 'Tom' Main and the late Mary (Selby) Main on March 8, 1932 in Moravia, Iowa. She was a graduate of Centerville High School. She worked as a waitress and cook at local restaurants. Barbara was preceded in death by: her parents; a brother, LaVern 'Oscar' Main; and a sister, Doris 'Neta' Jagerson. She is survived by: daughters Mary Ann Henderson and her husband, James, of Lovilia, Iowa and Sheila Van Blaricon and her husband, Rick, of Centerville, Iowa; a sister, Bonnie Ragona, of Bettendorf, Iowa; grandchildren Chris O'Hair, Veronica Stober, and Bradley Van Blaricon, all of Centerville, Iowa; Erin Lawson of Cincinnati, Iowa; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Howard Luscan officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Moravia, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2005 from 1:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with the family present from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
