Barb Fogle's Obituary
Barbara June Fogle, 72, of Centerville passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at her home. Barb was born to Robert & Lorraine (Norenberg) Thill in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on June 29, 1944. She graduated from Goodrich Senior High School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin in 1962. On September 1, 1962, Barb was united in marriage to Alan Fogle at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. To this union came two children; Steve and Michelle. While living in Wisconsin, Barb was employed by A.C. Nielson. Barb and Alan moved to Centerville in 1986. She was employed by Centerville Schools as a Teacher's Aide. Barb enjoyed swimming, volleyball, bowling, crocheting, doing crafts with the grandkids, tutoring, volunteering in the community, and spending time with family and friends. Barb, with her strength and courage, was the inspiration for the start of the Relay For Life of Appanoose County by her daughter in June 2007. Survivors include her husband, Alan Fogle of Centerville, two children: Steve Fogle (Leona) of Centerville, Michelle Moore (Mike) of Centerville, six grandchildren: Mallory Fogle, Peyton Moore, Mackenzey Fogle, Cade Moore, Kyla Moore, Logan Fogle, all of Centerville, sister Beverly Iloncaie (Alex) of Campbellsport, WI, brother-in-law Ernie Fogle of South St. Paul, MN, sister-in-law Dorothy Anderson of Fond du Lac, WI and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law: Lloyd Lichtenwald, Gordon Anderson, sisters-in-law: Florence "Pudgy" Lichtenwald and Marilyn Fogle. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in Oakland Cemetery.
