Ava Darlene Terry's Obituary
Ava Darlene Terry 90, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the Pekin Manor in Pekin IL. She was born on March 16, 1932, to Roy and Oda (Close) Jackson in Clarkdale, IA.
Ava was married to Paul Gene Terry on May 27, 1949. They went on to have four daughters and a son.
Ava loved spending time with her family; she was known for having a good sense of humor. In her spare time she enjoyed stitching.
Ava is survived by her daughters: Bonnie (Terry) Dudley, Brenda (Gerald) Davis, Beverly (Kevin) Miller, and Barbara (Ross) Nunes; twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother Donald Jackson, along with many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Terry; son Bryon Terry, sister Helen Frank, and brother Bill Jackson.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Thomas Funeral Home- Corydon with Ross and Barb Nunes Family officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Cemetery in Mystic, Iowa.
