Audrey Walter's Obituary
Audrey Walter, age 87, of Moravia, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville. She had been in failing health for several years.
She was born August 16, 1916 in Davis County of Glenn and Jesse (Brown) Burton. She was married to Ivan Walter May 6, 1940 at Kearney , NE. She was a homemaker most of her life.
She is survived by her husband Ivan, 4 sisters Francis Yoder, Hilda Brickey, Helen Young and her husband Ron, Dolly Sieren and one brother Roger Burton and his wife Sue all of Otumwa, Iowa, many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by an infant son her twin brother, who died in infancy, 2 sisters Orel Smith and Fern Strunk, 3 brothers Marvin, Lewis and Lloyd (Buck) Burton and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday afternoon April 21, 2004 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor John Adams officiating. Friends may call all day Tuesday with the family present from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
