Arlene Kay Kaster's Obituary
Arlene Kay Kaster, 82 of Centerville passed away, Friday, July 16, 2021 at Centerville Specialty Care.
Arlene was born to Carl & Leona (Sawyers) Lundman in Centerville on September 25, 1938. She received her education from Centerville Schools. On November 29, 1957, Arlene was united in marriage to Jack Kaster. To this union came five children: Pete, Pam, Peggy, Penny and Jason.
Arlene worked for years as a day care provider in Centerville. She enjoyed watching kids, playing Bingo, going to the casino and shopping for crafts, antiques and Avon.
Survivors include her husband Jack Kaster, children: Pete Kaster (Vanida), Pam Kruzich (John), Peggy Havard (Dave), Penny Stephenson (Dennis), Jason Kaster (Jennifer), grandchildren: Chira Conger, Tyler Havard (Tiffany), Adam Havard (Larissa), Blake Havard (Hallie), Austin Stephenson (Nicole), Jaxon Kaster, Brooklynn Kaster, seven great grandchildren and numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Fred Lundman.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Main Station Cemetery immediately following the service. Memorials may be given to Welcome Home Soldier - Albia or Veterans Affairs in Centerville.
