Anna K. Basenach's Obituary
Anna K. Basenach, age 100, of Centerville, Iowa, died Monday, April 30, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of George and Antonia (Starcevic) Kauzlarich in Rathbun, Iowa on July 7, 1906. She received her education in the Rathbun Catholic School in Rathbun, Iowa.April 28, 1962, she was united in marriage to John Alexander Basenach at St. Margaret's Church in Algonquin, Illinois. Anna worked for over 13 years for the General Electric Company in Chicago, Illinois and In 1970, the couple moved back to Centerville.She is preceded in death by: her parents and husband, John Alexander Basenach on October 20, 1972.Anna is survived by: cousins and other distant relatives.Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 1:30 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville, Iowa with Fr. Ron Will officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville.
