Ann Sheston Obituary's Obituary
Ann Sheston, 88 of Centerville passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. Ann was born to Florian & Teresca(Vojcek) Omastiak on July 21, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois. She received her education at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Chicago. Ann was employed at American Match Company and later employed by American Can Company where she met her husband Paul. She married Paul Sheston on May 3, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Church in Centerville. Ann enjoyed, cooking, baking, shopping and time spent with her family and friends. Ann is survived by five children; Patty Colton(Matthew) of Des Moines, Tom Sheston(Sharon) of Centerville, Mark Sheston(Denise) of Centerville, Mary Ellen Murphy(Mike) of Midland, Michigan, Corinne Duffy(Paul) of Chicago, 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her sister, Mary Ann Omastiak of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul on November 3, 2008, two sisters; Marie Mega, Carolyn Omastiak and four brothers, Ed Omastiak, Jim Omastiak, Florian Omastiak and Frank Omastiak. Funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 21, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Dennis Schaab C.PP.S officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be all day Thursday with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home. A rosary service will be held at 6:30 Thursday with Fr. Dennis Schaab C.PP.S officiating.
