When I was president of Iowa Trust and Savings Bank, Ann and Richard Burger were two of my favorite customers.
I didn't find out in time to have come to the service. I would have loved to see each of the children and their families. Ann was another one of the beautiful souls that have left us. her encouragement in music and her joy in her children always came through. I loved, as child, to visit their home, to dream dreams with Annette while we were riding horses. Ann is in a good place and she has friends and family there. It would have been lovely to see Annette and her family. and of course the rest of the family. I will miss Ann. I am sorry for your loss. and hope you find peace knowing she is God's and is with God now.
I will always remember Ann and Dick Burger as being pillars of my community. Ann was a dear friend to my mother Beverly Brinegar. I can still hear her beautiful voice singing at Fairview church when my family would sit near the Burger family on a Sunday morning. I will say a special prayer tomorrow for the Burger's. Mother's are so special, she will be missed.
She was a great lady.I had her as my teacher in junior high.In her class respect was shown as much as given.She was a credit to the teaching profession.A real great lady. My respect always to her,and my deepest condolences to her family
Our family is very sad to learn of the loss of Ann. She always asked about our children and would help whenever possible. Ann and Dick came to see our son off to the USMC. She was always available to talk. When I was down she would lift me up. I enjoyed talking to her about many subjects and she was excellent when giving advice about family, education and work. Ann was my English teacher in Jr High.She was definitely one of my favorites. She was,a wonderful teacher and person.So sorry for your loss.
