Anita Squires, 88 of Centerville passed away August 11, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. Anita was born in Cincinnati on June 11, 1923 to Carl & Dora(Veach) Wright. She attended Friendship School in rural Appanoose County. Anita was united in marriage on December 3, 1940 to Freddie Squires in Unionville, Missouri. Anita is survived by five children; Cecile Cooper(Bernard) of Mercer, Missouri, Richard Squires(Sharon) of Jerome, Carolyn Kruzich(Mark) of Bloomfield, Judy O'Conner(Gary) of Lead Hill, Arkansas, Dale Squires of Sully, Iowa, 24 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 22 great great grandchildren, two brothers; James Wright(Nancy) of Laguna Beach, California, Carl Wright(Gerri) of Laguna Beach and a sister Dora Mudra of Centerville. She is preceded in death by her husband Freddie in 1982, three sisters; Wilma Thomas, Genevieve Schultz, Edna Odeen, two brothers, William and Donald Wright, granddaughter Chris Cooper and a grandson, Billy Leck. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2011 at Jerome Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
