Angella 'Angie' Creagan's Obituary
Angella 'Angie' Creagan, age 65 of Centerville, Iowa passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
Angie was born in Knoxville, Iowa on September 2, 1951, the daughter of Fred and Doris (Angelo) Furnald. She was united in marriage to Ronald Creagan on September 16, 1967 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. From this union, two children were born, Cindy and Brenda.
She was employed at the Don Ellen Motel for 20 years. Angie then worked at the Continental in Centerville for 7 years. Throughout her lifetime, she cleaned homes in the Centerville area as well.
Angie was very fond of reading, especially southern romance novels and the Danielle Steel series. She loved shopping, gambling, Doris Day and Rock Hudson movies. She knew the classic movies, 'old westerns' by heart. She also enjoyed mowing the yard, and taking care of her flowers.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronald Creagan of Centerville; her daughters, Brenda (Eric) Fry of Centerville and Cindy Creagan of Ottumwa; two brothers, Timothy (Melva) Furnald of Seymour and Patrick (Francis) Furnald of Knoxville, Tennessee; one grandchild, Cameron Fry; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, especially her favorite uncle, Paul Angelo of Missouri.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Doris Furnald; her father-in-law, Lawrence Creagan Jr.; her mother-in-law, Patricia Creagan; a niece, Kim Jellison; and a nephew, Mark Inman.
Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Father Bill Hubmann officiating. Burial will follow the services at Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. A visitation will take place on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with family present from 5-7PM. A rosary service will be held at 4:30PM, on Monday, prior to the visitation with family present. Memorials have been established to the Angella Creagan Memorial to be decided at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 South 18th St., Centerville, Iowa.
