Deborah Jean and family, I just today, Friday the 5th, learned about Andy's passing. My cousin, Maribeth Torrey DeHaven sent me an e-mail. I would have come up for the funeral had I known sooner. I remember visiting with you and Andy and heimpressed me as being a fine man. I pray that you will be comforted by the many friends you two had, and that your daughters will be there for you inthis time of grief. A friend of mine, Tom Loghry, was also a 1964 graduate of UHS, and welost him to cancer just over a month ago. I have been fighting cancer myself and have been looking into natural healing methods. Tom's wife, Elaine, is active in our church and is holding up well with her loss. I will make an effort to stop by the next time I am back in Unionville. One of my favorite memories from when you were young was when I was working in Des Moines and bought all my neices and nephews cowboy boots for Christmas. With Mom and Forrest's house having wooden floorsit was a noisy clomp-clomp-clomp as you kids walked about in your new cowboy boots. Until I see you again, be strong. Andy would have wanted that.Your seldom-seen uncle,Neal Roger Torrey Posted by NEAL R. TORREY - Bolivar, MO - Family February 05, 2016
