Allan Pedrick's Obituary
Allan Pedrick, 89 of Queen City, Missouri, passed away on January 19, 2021 at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri. Allan Dean Pedrick was born to Paul and Mary (Baird) Pedrick on March 7, 1931 in Ottumwa, Iowa. He married Cheryl Mackenzie from Missoula, Montana. They had three children: Jeff, Paula and Brian. Cheryl passed away in 1985 and Allan later married Helen Horn. Together they retired and relocated to Moulton, Iowa. Allan was a Navy Veteran who served his country in the Korean War Conflict. Allan was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed all sports, especially his beloved St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Left to cherish Allan's memory are his three children Jeff Pedrick (Jeanne), Paula Scholl (Jess) and Brian Pedrick, six grandchildren Ryan Pedrick (Erin), Jesse Pedrick (Felicity), Ashley Sines (James), Sarah Conner (Jon), Rachael Pedrick (Alec) and Brandon Countryman, and ten great-grandchildren as well as Forrest Horn (Diane), Eddie Paul Horn, Teresa Hetzler (Wayne) and Liz Hetzler (Orvie), twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Allen is preceded in death by his wife Cheryl Pedrick, wife Helen Pedrick, brothers Joel Pedrick and Sam Stites, brother-in-law Calvin Mang, daughter-in-law Julie Pedrick and grandson Michel Countryman. Allan was a sweet and gentle man who will surely be missed by all who knew him. Thanks for everything, Dad. Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Keosaugua. Interment will immediately follow at Purdom Cemetery. Visitation will in Keosauqua will be one hour prior to service from 10-11:00 am. Visitation in Centerville will be Friday, January 22, 2021 at Thomas Funeral Home from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
