Alice L. Cridlebaugh's Obituary
Agnes L. Cridlebaugh, age 91, of Centerville, Iowa, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of William and Addie (McConnell) Hull on March 16, 1916 near Bunch, Iowa. She graduated from the Unionville Community Schools in Unionville, Iowa.On December 26, 1940, Agnes was united in marriage to Keith Cridlebaugh in Unionville, Missouri. She taught school for over 8 years in rural Appanoose County, and later would enjoy being a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Centerville, Iowa where she headed up the Quilting Bee. Agnes also took great pride in being a Girl Scout Troupe leader for many years.She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Keith Cridlebaugh on April 12, 1995; four brothers, Milo, Woodrow, Donald Hull and one infant brother; sisters, Dorothy Hanrahan and Mary Maas and an infant sister.Agnes is survived by: her sisters, Ruby Gorden of California and Helen Jobe of Eldon, Iowa; brother-in-law, John and his wife, Lois Cridlebaugh of Centerville, Iowa; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eaton Cemetery west of Unionville, Iowa with Rev. Tonya Elmore and Rev. Lloyd Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at the Eaton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville from 2 pm till 8 pm with the family present from 6 pm till 8 pm at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to either Eaton Cemetery or to First Baptist Church and can be left at the funeral home.
