Aldo V. Zucco's Obituary
Aldo Zucco, age 76 of Centerville, Iowa died Friday, November 25, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
Aldo was born November 8, 1934 in Centerville to Joseph and Giaciomina (Cambruzzi) Zucco. He was raised near Sunshine where his father was a coalminer. Aldo graduated from Centerville High School and worked for HyVee for over 48 years. He served in the Unites States Army during the Korean Conflict. Aldo loved gardening and woodworking and made all the cabinets in his home.
Aldo is survived by two sisters Gloria Staninger of Centerville and Norma Zucco of Warrenville, Illinois, a brother Joe (Margaret) Zucco of Omaha, Nebraska; two nephews David and Tony Zucco, a niece Joeth; 5 great nieces and nephews, twins Cassidy and Madison, Chris, Jaime and Dustin; 13 great great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, a brother Louis Zucco and a niece, Jacklyn Gremling..
Mass of the Resurrection will be held 10AM Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Centerville with Fr. Dennis Schaab C.PP. S officiating. Friends may call all day Monday at the Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with the family present from 6-8 PM. A Rosary Service will be held 7:30 PM at the Lange Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Centerville. A memorial has been established to either St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Hospice Room at Mercy Medical Center and may be left at the funeral Home.
